dx wagon yay or nay?

ill be starting a small business in the next 6-8 months and i will be needing a wagon to transport some goods. Was going thru the classifieds and i saw these selling around 30-37k. Is it a good buy? i know they carry the same 4A-5A stuff as the 100-110 corolla and well its a toyota product so it should be trouble free right?

so should i buy one?
is there parts locally for it eg doors and stuff

also i have intentions of swapping in 20v blacktop eventually.

yea.....parts available on trinituner and in the Bamboo.....as an owner myself.....this wagon reliable.....very fuel efficient.....mines came with the 5EFE engine......comes with leaf spring suspension in the rear....so it could take some load......brake and suspension upgrades too if you want......Front spindles and shock/spring from Levin will work up....bolt for bolt....compared to the Nissan AD......this plenty better....

Was interested in the ad before but the price tag at 55k isn't worth it in my opinion. I'm still checking about the parts. Is it easy to Get?

I never saw a door or a trunk lid in all my years of looking in foreign used places

A very reliable and fuel efficient vehicle. Mine was trouble free for years. The leaf springs classifies it as a semi commercial vehicle which is great for longevity in hauling stuff around.

The 5efe is a very easy engine to modify as well. I turbocharged mine eventually with no issues ( I had a 4spd manual). Lets just say that no naturally aspirated 20v ever caught it. I ran it for years at 9psi with NO issues at all. Plus it will run on super as well.

Once the previous owner did not abuse it, you will be fine with the purchase.

yup the dx wagons are great vehicles. reliable, fuel efficient, pulls great, parts available and decently priced.

Only thing is the lack of full power windows and the interior kinda poor imho

Interior doesn't matter for me as it's a work oriented vehicle, the windows aren't a problem as its less to go wrong.

I'm trying to locate a sale for my lancer now and the Wagon Will be purchased.
