Aye pplz,

Please suggest any reliable, experienced persons or shops that do repairs and/or overhauls for Toyota gearboxes/manual transmissions.

My mechanic has told me that due to the up/down movement in terms of play that the cup has in the gearbox, the diff. bearing may need to change.

Also, there is a crack on the gearbox from when the left side tripod hit the gearbox, that needs to be repaired/plugged as well.

Since the gearbox will be out of the car, i figure i mite as well do a comprehensive overhaul of the entire gearbox so i can avoid problems later down the road.

Please PM or e-mail me (pitbull83@hotmail.com) any info. you can provide re. contact numbers, track record, location of business etc.

Bless up.......

Simmons knows toyota gearboxes inside out and most importantly he has tons of parts so you get fixed on the spot. I'll pm his number. When my LSD unit started malfunctioning he puled it down and it had a piece of metal jammed inside. Up till now no probs.
