4e carb ?

The engine number is usually on the block just below the exhaust manifold on the transmission side of the engine.

A carby 4E looks like this.

yea the engine looks exactly like tha one .... except the air filter different ... i was thinking about goin 20v .. but as stated the 4efte everyone says is bolt for bolt , so i may go that way , but my engine works very well so i feelin bad to yank it out are there any mods available for this engine ?

Bear in mind that your engine may well be old and worn, so modifying might just end up turning it into a money pit.
Have your mechanic assess the condition of the engine and decide if you wanna swap or rebuild or if it's still in decent enough condition to start modifying.
Normal i/h/e mods and carb tuning will do fine over stock.

If you decide the 4E-FTE isn't for you, there's the 5E-FE and the 5E-FHE that are direct bolt-ups and still good improvements over a worn, stock carb'd motor. You still have some decent options.
