Air-cooled rotor upgrades may be the same diameter as your stockers but they're actually thicker and calipers designed for solid rotors won't have the space to accommodate them. You'll either need to get the entire spindles or just the rotors n' calipers.
There's a brake upgrade thread here where we discussed sizes, slotted/cross-drilled etc. and there are links where u can order online if you don't want used stuff from the Bamboo.
BUT, a pair of AE1** spindles would likely only put u out abt $500-$800 for the pair depending on if u get the oversized ones off a GT model (hope u running at least 15" rims for the GT brakes). OR u can scour about for a set of double-piston stockers off a Caldina if you don't consider that to be overkill.
Be sure to put in fresh lines and fresh fluid and, as a plus, replace your stock 13/16" brake master cylinder with a 15/16" or 1" one from a later model. If u do this first, you'll feel the difference in stopping power while u look for the rest of your upgrade.
