WTK: NZE Steering Wheel Tilted When Driving Straight???

Fellas I have a NZE 1.6 2002 model which I had bought RORO a few years back. I seem to have some kind of steeing wheel issue only now after how many years of having it. The Vehicle worked great esp when driving on the highway the steering wheel kept straight and never had any pulling whatsoever.

I noticed in the last 2mths that when driving, the car drives straight still however, the steering wheel automatically always tilts to the left settling at about a 300 degree position and remains there in order to drive straight on the highway or any straight road. If I drive the steering holding it even at centre position it would go to the right but for the car to drive straight, it has to be tilted at that angle.

Car is barely drivin and has never went into a bad hole or had any accidents. When noticed, I first did an alignment and no luck, I did about 2 more in different places and no change at all.
It running the Toyota original rims on all four and always keeping the psi air pressure even on all four. I even switched the front tyres with the back and sped balanced all four and even re aligned/cambered again but nothing changed…

Any info on what may have caused a “perfectly” working centered steering to just tilt and remain driving straight?

Did you ask them to re-center your steering for you at the alignment shop? This can be easily fixed doing a 'zero point adjust.'

Thanks joe_d_boss but Is that by chance the kind of "Y" shaped device they place under the steering wheel? They did that after i had mentioned it to them...
If not, does it involve taking out the steering wheel and affecting the abs bag which is under the wheel?

No, I don't think it should affect the air bag in any way. But the four-wheel alignment is supposed to get it back in place. Make sure and let them know that you want the steering centered when the wheels are straight. This is part of their job. Go to Mileage Mack and talk to them. They may not have the device to do the zero-point adjust, but they should be able to get it centered +/- 1 or 2 degrees.
