I know the Gapers will enjoy these photos of the Turbo Corolla. The discriminators will see that there are no rear disc brakes, plain dash, no fancy meters and only 150HP.
Enjoy nevertheless.

In previous posts I had mentioned about the climb of the Japanese Yen since early 2010 against the US Dollar. This along with general increase of car prices in Japan before the tsunami, is wreaking havoc in the used car market. Toyota cars too, even during the recession in 2009 held high prices, and now are among the most expensive.
On the sites where I see GT Axios, they are being sold for not less than US$23,500 !! Roughly in TT$ this is about 10 times when the car reaches the importer/customer!! TT$235,000.
On these sites, the GT Axios are sometimes twice the price of the Axio G, which is the top-of-the-line 1500cc model. Aside from the turbo engine, the Axio G has a lot more creature-comforts than the GT. The GT is pretty plain in this regard..............but pretty quick !!
If I get this car supplied from my regular dealer, at best it may cost the customer TT$200,000, which I feel is still too expensive.

Very old thread but has anyone ever seen a front half from this model locally for sale?
