With an AE86 there are still alot of aftermarket parts and new oem available as it's probably still the most popular drift car. A simple search on ebay can get you sooo much results, they use the same front suspension links etc as the KE70 and alot of parts from the Cressida can work on on it also.
What is the condition of the car is it worth the trouble? What is your goal and budget?

Why worry about the rear suspension? Is something wrong to it? there are alot of aftermarket diffs available for the AE86 which has T-series differential, as for the other parts like shocks etc it will still be available..
