Getting this grinding/draggin noise when I turn the steering to the right in 2006 Corolla. Not happening on turning left. Sounds like coming from under car.
Searched tuner and found people posting about gearbox problems, fuel pump. Car is automatic, electronic steering. Bearings ok.

Most times people complain about a draging sound when turning, its the tyre rubbing against the under fender liner or shield or chassis if bigger wheels on.
When its the velocity joint/drive shaft its a crackling type sound as if something is about to break.
Best advice is visit your repairer before thing get worse.

before checking any of those things just make sure that your wheel nuts are tight....had this problem before. imagine my embarrassment when the mechanic told me to tighten my wheel nuts and problem solved.
