do a diagnostic scan, check to make sure vvti solenoid is engaging. hopefully no one interfered wit ur timing! consider if drive train could be an element eg. clutch slipping, tranny slipping, do a cylinder compression test.... off da top dats the best i can offer bro.

it may be the vvti gear or solenoid, does it sound like its chattering at idle an cleans up as you rev.

Yes it does especially at the first start on mornings then it clears up after a while but it will always hold back at the initial acceleration for a couple seconds then it will start pulling normal.

could be as simple as a dirty MAF sensor, always look at the simple things before getting technical, buy a tin of CRC Maf sensor cleaner, take your sensor out when cold and spray liberally the inside and outside of sensor, let it dry and replace, tools required a 10 spanner or socket and a Phillip head screwdriver

if its a rattle or raspy sound it could be nothing more than the exhuast shield that may need to be tightened.

Its not really a rattle but more of a sputtering sound as if the car is misfiring and then I would get the sputtering when I first accelerate then the car picks up and runs ok.
I am going to have a diagnostics done tomorrow so I will let you guys know what came out of it.

People,
The diagnostics came out ok, no sensor problems, however cylinder's 1, 3 & 4 had oil (dripping with oil) on the threads of the spark plugs so it seems that I have to change the valve seals in the engine. I also did a back pressure test and it showed that the exhaust system is causing some back pressure which would have probably lead to the oil coming up in the cylinders.
1. I need to know where I can find someone really good to check the exhaust system for me.
2. Can somebody recommended a good mechanic for me to change the valve seals.

I did the following tests on the car:
1. Diagnostics - no problems here
2. Engine Compression - showed a very healthy engine
3. All coil packs were tested - No problems
4. Back pressure - back pressure was detected
All these tests were done at Ryotech Performance. The service was exceptional and I will recommend this guy to anyone.

any muffler person would be capable of testing the exhaust, if you have a choke it's either your cat converter or the barrel itself (know someone who suffered a clogged barrel in an altezza and performance was horrible) if El Socorro is not far from you call Andy @ 727-5722 to have your system checked

check also for the oil on threads if the plug seals leaking. it will look as if it in the cylinder but its really when backin out the plug the oil runs down. did the coil pack have oil on it also

The coil pack had no very very little to no oil on it and most of the oil was on the plug insulator and electrode plus the threads were soaked in it. However it is a good idea to change the plug seals as well.
Thanks for that thought.
