no issues... the at transmission light came on abt 2 weeks ago on some serious hills off road but it was because the oil passed the 40,000k. Powerfull... nice punch. wats ur top speed?

Is your dashboard cracked?
How did you get the a/t light rectified? 40 000km on a/t fluid is nothing. What's your mileage?

got it services etc..... Mileage abt 150,000km... Dashboard good.. no cracks

iz get like 170kph but it has a speed cut i believe.... the light came off once the tranny cooled down.... it looked like i should have put the van in 4low instead.... otherwise no issues....

Got a PBS.... doing 63### km... dashboard crack just so a few months ago. Vehicle is mostly garage parked. No issues otherwise.

I have Oem oil and fuel filters. I also have disc pads, boot rubbers, bulbs etc.

I am a new Prado Owner. I just bought a 1998 Model
Engine 1KZ.
sweeks I saw that you said that you have the OEM Oil ? What brand is the OEM Oil ? And what Oil filter do you use ?
I am looking for any sort of help i can acquire what so ever as to properly maintain my van.

I have oem oil filter and fuel filter for the 1kz. Any good mineral oil should work well.
Ensure your cooling system is working well. Change thermostat and coolant if your unsure.

I bought mine on Friday. Needs some TLC but I will get she up to mark.
Maybe you guys can help me out. There are jack missing from the actuator on the transfer case. So no 4wd at the moment.
If anyone can help.me wire this back up or get the original harness I would be grateful.
