Why wont my 20 valve engine rev past 5000 rpm

Raz, your install has a Check Engine Light?

If it does, read this and see what error codes you come up with.

Mine was going like this and it was the brain...One of the ic was gone and as such lost the programming. Was dumping alot of gas too...

I had a problem like this once...turned out the tach was going...cuz it SOUNDED like it was swinging rpm, just that it stopped at 5k on the tach...lol...jus saying...no driveability problems? listen to your engine yo...how's it sound meng?
