Yeh, as long as you have everything it can be done..Alot of people just use cable type TB and a stand alone..

All you really need is the pedal, but most guys buy them in front cuts that way you sure get everything.

Can anyone tell me what type of engine oil / transmission oil is used in the 2jz vvti engine

i use mobil 1 10w-30 or 10w40 extended performance and toyota atf type 4 in mine. i suppose any fully synthetic with the 10w30 10w40 body and transmission fluid that meets the oem spec will be just fine. i just choose to stay with toyota atf type 4 and toyota's oem coolant

Engine oil cooler on a JZ any suggestions
Have a relocation kit AN-8 fittings
Is a bigger oil pump necessary need some info

Oil cooler kit should not warrant an upgraded oil pump.
A new oem pump will be a wise move on a rebuild.
PHR and other ppl has upgraded pumps if you want to spend.
I would open up the oil return drain to sump.
And ofc prime ur oil pump during assembly.
Is it going to be a high revving engine by chance?

Bear in mind alot of high power jz builds still use the stock oil cooler assembly with no issues.

Is not a rebuilt motor just stock,want to relocate
Oil filter and the mechanic suggest run a engine oil
Cooler. So could it he done with not issues oil pressure will remain the same?

fellas i need help..almost finished swapping a 1jzgte vvti(ETCS-i) into my altezza but this part here broke when i got the engine..i was told its a boost solenoid..question is...Where can i source one? and if its hard to find, can i use an aftermarket solenoid instead? your help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks!!
