HELP!!!!

ey guys need a lil info on how to properly remove a 20v head from block and if there is ne special tool ill need
thanks in advance.........

no one can tell me how to separate a head from a block......

Firstly, you need the engine to be at room temperature. Disconnect your negetive battery terminal and start scrapping and removing everything that can obstruct the head from coming off, eg. hoses, electrical connection, exhaust,engine mounts etc. Turn engine over to TDC and start slackning cylinder head bolts. You need to remove tappit pan cover b 4 doing that eh. Slacken head bolt in the reverse order from the way you torque them. Remove the timing belt cover and carefully bolt off camshaft pulleys. Keep the timing belt on them and do not allow it to slip off, otherwise you would have to also remove crankshaft pulley and covers as well, inorder to retime the engine.
No special tool is required in taking off head. However, a torque wrench and new cylinder head gaskit would be necessary in replacing head

drill out the head of the stud ....works every time

check ' ae111.co.uk' , then down load the full repair manual from that forum. It has all the info for repairing the 20v.

dat too. I hear my US brothers does use something called "time-serts". Not sure what these are of if they can be used.

i will pretty much sell as is (see my sig) or ill jus tack a piece material on d head and screw it out
