Hilux gas usage question

I thinking bout buying a hilux 2006. 4x4, automatic but uses gas. PREMIUM gas. (bleh). The lady selling it says that it takes about $175 to full the tank. I assuming its a 2.5 litre.
Huw much km should i get out of that?

One of my friend sold his gas Hilux and bought the diesel hilux because of both the price of premium and the poor gas mileage. Do not expect anything more than 350 KM on a full tank. Actually the gas engine are 2.7 VVTI. The diesel are 2.5 and 3.0, both turbo.

i knw ppl tht use super in their hilux, the gas mileage is around 350-400 kms depends on ur drivin habits, also the gas hilux wud hav a lower resale value n wud be harder to sell than the diesel hilux. the gas hilux wud be a little cheaper to maintain though

with diesel @ $1.50 per liter and premium @ $4 who cares
is not like u hadda be chookin up in that engine any how is ah new vehicle , jus normal maintenance required

haydn28, thaz y i bought a diesel
but if servicing at TTTL the diesel hilux need to be serviced every 5k compared to the gas which is every 10k and the cheapest service is around 1200..
diesel all the way!

im planning to buy a 4x2 diesel in January ....but i make 5000kms real fast these days
self service ftw yes

^ yea i did 5 services for the year already, 5000kms is reach way 2 fast..so i decided to use a synthetic oil so i cud service every 10,000 kms..i wud stick wit TTTL cuz i satisfied wit the service n i dont want to void my warranty
