LEXUS IS200 SERVICE INFORMATION

Guys i just purchased a foreign used IS 200 and i would like to do a routine service on the car.

The vehicle came with the 1g-fe six cylinder engine and i would like to change the plugs,oil,oil filter, air filter,transmission fluid and belts.

Advice on what is the recommended materials to use would be greatly appreciated.

necessary:
6 irridium spark plugs,
toyota long life radiator coolant (the red stuff)
toyota ATF type t-IV, 3quarts
5 quart 10w-30 synthetic (10w-40 if you doing plenty kms)
1- 4pk1070
1-4pk900
1-3pk 900? (not sure)
timing belt part #13568-79235
air filter toyota#17801-70050 /K&N version = 33-2845

optional:
you should check your cabin filter while your at it #87139-48020
- one TTE Compressor kit. (TTE) AM27906. great investment :wink:

i don't think you can bring in 1st gen any more but you can get them locally from 85-150k depending on the series. 2nd gen can go for 300k+
