Hello guys! was a silent reader for quite some time now ...finally decided to register ..!

I am looking for a mild turbo upgrade for my 4efte motor , visited the market in search of something , now i know that Td04l is the best upgrade..but sadly i couldnt find it ....
However there were lots of other trims of Td04 , some were quite cheap and were from diesel cars ..

Also a friend suggested that for mild upgrade i can go for ct12b , ct20..Now there were lots of ct12b`s there , but i couldnt differentiate which was was from the 1jz supra ...

I should go their and pick up just any td04 , ct12 or ct20 turbo from a Patrol version car ??? will they a bit give more top end power then the ct9 ??

Will be glad if i get a quick response from you guys ..also i`ll be using mostly stocks things ( ecu , clutch )
For fueling i`ll be relying on an fpr .....

try d garret t25 its common enough( from the SR20 det) . its quite durable so blown seals and bad bearing chances are low if u get it F.used, definitly a lot more power than d ct9, and spools @ 4000 rpm , one of d quickest 4efte powered cars in tnt using this turbo,

the T25 is cheap and easily sourced, of course if u have the money you can spend it on something better ,

It all depends where you want your power!! Low end , mid range or top end. Not to sure how that 1.3L will spool , but you may need to research the compressor maps and then decide how to go. You need to match the turbo's efficency rings with RPM and flow! It not's just about a particular turbo working good in a similar vehicle or engine. Did that person raise his CR, did he port his head for better flow?? All these secrets racers keep to themselves because its not visible. A T25 seems reasonable but it may not work as well with someone who did extensive head work and has forged up and his pushing 15psi while you at 10Psi. Another point is that a GT25(ballbearing) is way better than a T25(journal).
