ok guys wat i would like to know is why does the ae111 bzr levin go for such a cheap price? i mean compare a bzr levin b/t 20v 6speed lsd to a ek9 civic or sir and which one u go buy!!! well in my opinion and experience the levin far better looking had more torque and acceleration, better handling with super strut and just better and can be considered a genuine sport car!!! then y are these going for 60k and less and these civics calling over 70 k and 80k for their slow pokes!! even those old dc2 type R going for 80k and over and i can tell u from experience the 20v can dust them away, there are 20 year old 200sx with CA18 going for more than 70, a good condition ae111 corollla going for over 55 so y are we selling our levins so cheap???? please guys explain??????????????????

it comes down to market forces, quite frankly I would not pay more that 45K for an AE111, and no more than $55K for an AE111 Levin/Trueno, neither would I pay those ridiculous figures for a Civic irregardless of what engine it had, however there is a phenomenon called Honda fanboyism which leaves them to believe their cars are worth that and someone will pay it

Don't knock on Honda cars, They are number one right now in front of Toyota. Also I will never buy a Toyota because they rip you of with the cost of parts maintenance etc, that is why they sell dirt cheap here in the states and nobody want's them anymore because the prices is insane and they are like ants in a junk yard.

Agreed! But the thread started innocently enough...with a simple question, until a couple misinformed ppl got involved.

This a toyota forum and this argument between this matter have to stop.I know in all honda has sold more of their vehicles than toyota .But honda men doh get tie up u can build your frank b16a,b18c,b20b.In all the engine donnot last long .The reason being you guy are so persistent of getting hp in all the reliability of a toyota is way more prefer .U can take and toyota and boost it and it will take it .Do that to any honda and see it two weeks u looking for another engine .Another point dealing with the sir b16a ,it works well it performs but why a little 1.3 4efte beating all of it.The hp in a b16a is 165 to 170hp .We little 1.3 turbo is 133hp do d maths and tell meh .I know honda I deal with honda and give advice on these engines ,but in all I love my toyota and happy to say I have one .People can sell there honda faster because it sometime give problem or look for another honda .A toyota man will stick to his toyota reason he will not sell because the time and money spent on building his toyota he will not get back if he decides to sell , and by the way toyota parts are expensive good quality parts .Performance parts as well . Try building a 4a ge 7a fe or 1zz or 2 zz u will see it cost a lot to build I know.
