Left the back mount stock but its filled with oil, so it was too soft as the others was polyurethaned....Will get back the back mount redone tommorow, should have it up and running, will take some pics of the bracket one time while under there.

Before i took it out sunday, i took it for a little drive, stomped it on L gear as its the only gear to feel it and ended up catching someone i knew with an sr20de in a b14....could'nt catch me when pressing out but when shifting to 2, it goes on 3rd and D goes to 4th, so thats the slowdown until the transmission is wired.

Feels nice after 4000rpm to 7600 :D :D :D :D

will the 5S-FEtransmission be able to work with the RAV4 greytop that you've installed long term? Or will you eventually switch to a full RAV4 setup?

it works, but i've seen another 5sfe transmission and its smaller than the one we have, ours have a extra casing to the back with fins on it, so not sure which is stronger. Heard this one we have is lsd.

Also, with a good aluminum transmission oil cooler, you should be good to go.

A-1 Superior Tech wrote:ok so it would have been much easier to use the first 4 piston brakes, but i dont like the idea of welding a bracket for brakes.

The rx7 brakes, they work right up, calipers that is, but the rotor, it goes too much inside as the housing is deeper than toyota.

What needs to be done is you will need longer wheel studs, about half inch to inch longer studs and use maximum 1/4 inch washers to space out the housing in the spindle. Then you work up calipers and bolt up and go.

Will be doing this later on, not right now, currently money is low lol.

Going to pick up car now, so performance will be tested

Cool i got a set of these FS @ $800. but what rotors did you uses the RX ones or the car stock ones? didn't really catch that part
