It all has to do with how long you keep the push rod depressed. That will determine what mode you select and what time you set. I know the explanation is kind of vague but it's a bit difficult to explain . . . or maybe it's just my limited vocabulary.

When I hold it down for a few seconds, it resets to the closest hour. e.g. if it shows 6:20, and I hold down the rod, it goes to 6:00. If 6:50, it goes to 7:00.
What other way is there to select the mode?

Sorry I don't know of any other way, I only had to do it once and luckily got through on the first try. It might be that you're holding it down too long, experiment with different "hold-down" times.

I got the coolant at Juteram's in Arima couple months ago for either $138 or $143.

DON'T EVER PUT CONVENTIONAL ATF IN A CVT TRANSMISSION!!! From what I've read, CVT fluid has microscopic friction enhancing particles to cause the chain or belt in the trans to grip on the pulleys. Conventional ATF will cause the chain/belt to slip on the pulleys and eventually cut into them.

I think he meant changing the entire transmission not the fluid.

i dont recommend that u put super in that 1nz-fe.....neither does the manufacturer....this gona cause the ecu to retard the timing and cause ah set ah stupid problems....and also as set ah injector issues as well...so even though it may look as though it working fine now and u think that its working fine......well lets just say candle cost more than funeral....

Must use octane booster every 2 to 3 full up if you using super.or else,hmmmmm.

What's the difference in the Fielder NZE141, between the 2WD & 4WD besides the wheel operation? Maintenance, service, performance, gas consumption, etc....

I haven't had any first-hand experience with the 4wd 141 but generally speaking 4wd vehicles do burn more fuel than their 2wd counterpart. Performance wise you can expect better traction and handling, that's why rally cars are 4wd. That's just my 2 cents, hope it helps.

A CVT rebuild should cost as follows;
Parts and consumerables-$4000.
Tranny rebuild service charge-$3000.
Tranny removal and reinstallation-$1500.
Approximate total cost-$8500.
The estimate provided does not include chain which new could be up to $6000,however have been advised that the need for chain replacement is an extremely infrequent requirement.Most times tranny failure is due to piston/drum sieze.
If further infor. required please advise.
