1. Could I change it while the care is moving?
2. What's the difference between both features?
3. I heard someone say on MANU, you can manually shift gears from 1-overdrive, and if you do that, am I supposed to hear a (double rev) at 6500 rpm when shifting to 2nd, then the same response at 7000rpm when shiftin to Drive?

It's been discussed before in another thread. You can do a search.

The MANU is economy mode. Gears change quicker so it does not rev high, thereby saving gas but slower to move; LAZY. Mashing to for the car to gear down doesn't really do much. It will not kick down if the lower gear makes the engine rev too high.

PWR car will rev to max then change gear once your foot down on the pedel. Car will also gear down once you mash the pedal a bit. More responsive driving, burns much more gas.

That's the only real difference.

Order! bess pic there 8-) *i take it nah  *

yeah corollalover, the 2zz can fit in the AE chassis, i was told the gearboxes can be swapped making the install easier, as the zz replaces the A series engines...i stand to be corrected though, i'm just relaying what i was told 8-)

Mine: AE111 stock as a duck except for Michellin Pilot sports and an Alpine system 8-)

My Toyota:

NZE-121R (Face lift model)
1NZ-FE 1.5L engine
Automatic
Factory rims, in fact factory everything.
PBW series

Future: Paint Over, engine swap.

Have a couple of options for the swap (3S-GE, 4A-GZE, 2ZZ-GE) but haven't made up my mind as to what is the best option.

Also waiting to see what engine goes into Toyota's "new AE86" and if its swappable.

Yeah I know.... but that's the one with the most easily available parts... right?
I thought the 3S-GTE was only 4 wheel drive? Is there a moutable Fwd transmission for it? 2ZZ, how are parts for it? Extremely difficult no?
