Postby nareshseep » March 27th, 2013, 7:52 pm

Looking to obtain some info for a padner on converting a tercel from the original 2e engine to a 5afe engine.Has anyone done this before and know any good mechanics who can do this conversion?

an e-series engine swap will be ur best an most cost effective bet, str8 bolt up. an a-series engine will require work done to the mounting brackets. other than that. its a matter of choice what engine u wanna put... 5efe is the largest displacment e-series engine>>1500cc

only one mount will have to be moved, there are some tercels in t&t that have come with the engine originally.there are holes on the right side chassie next to the mount that line up an a engine mount.
