WTK: Where does 20V ECU tuning/modification?

engine is st20v and i want to know where i can go to get the engine tuned via computer. Anyone knows where/who does this or can do this for me?

"tuned via computer"? doesn't the post topic indicate that you want a diagnostic scan done?

lol nah i now realise wat dis diagnostic thing does. wat i was wondering was is like how ppl plug in their laptop into the bran and modify different things

AFAIK, it can't be done on the 20V ECU, unless you send it off to TOM'S Racing to have it modded for a lock of your hair, your eternal soul and the blood of your firstborn...but I don't know everything.

Maybe another 2nr more versed with this could chime in here.

yeah sorry dude. toyota in general doesn't like any and every body messing with their ECUs. You have to be a "authorized partner" eg TTE, TOM's, Lotus, etc. the programing software that runs toyota engines is a closely guarded secret.

the good news is you're engine is popular so you will have plenty aftermarket support/piggybacks

But wouldn't it be great if toyota allowed the average tuner access to that?
