just change the tank to a diesel tank and change your filters

you'll also need an octane regulator to bypass the ECU

I think he meant to remove the gas and convert to diesel engine... Same gas tank can work, need to remove fuel pump from system, change radiator to 3 core metal, get desired engine with. Axles modified to fit, exhaust modification, electrical in engine bay to be redone, new battery (diesel) power steering and AC conversion with lines, and massive heat proofing of firewall. That's just some of what's to be done, there is still more. So you decide if its worth it.

i pretty sure tuner men goin to blast you on this one.. but diesel and gas work differently.. gasoline dynamic cycle to adiabatic compression...
can't be done..
better to go CNG..

but limited gas stations that fuel CNG

Putting diesel engines in cars not design for them doesn't make sense!! These engines are generally much heavier and place a lot of stress on your suspension. Plus I don't think you will be saving any money in the long run after paying for the conversion.
The NZE engine literally sips gas, to mayaro and back to Couva and barely 1/4 tank. Best bet is to use Super (if not doing so already), change driving habits, or install a CNG kit if yih really want to lower your bill.(If that is the reason for the swap)

What is the reason for considering this?

Have to be, these nzes are one of the most economical functionally sized cars around.
