Comprehensive Insurance for 2004 Corolla Altis

I buyin 2004 Corolla Altis RORO in 6-8 weeks, but having problems finding an insurance company that will do full comprehensive for it (getting it through a bank loan).

anyone know some companies that will do full comprehensive for this car?

Why are they declining to give full comprehensive?

They declining fully comp because of parts.... Parts are not coming from the local company (TTTL) and will be air freighted in when needed adding to the insurance companies' expense.

I tried Colfire in Arima,Guardian General, they said they could do it. Also if you have family with a particular company for a good few years, they might allow you.

Try Sagicor.. my sis got through with them. First time driver as well!!

But isn't the Altis a Corolla (just a different name)?

^^ Yes, but the problem is not the engine or anything mechanical... its the body parts that insurance companies are worried about..

Insured mine fully comprehensive with Colfire today =]

I have an agent that organises everything for me though... I could give you the name and number.

i got it with colfire, but the strange thing is that the first time I called, i only got 3rd party, now they change it to fully comprehensive. :roll:
