171 Corolla

Postby superstainless1250 » May 10th, 2023, 12:34 pm

Good day guys
I recently bought a 2015 Toyota Corolla Altis 171 Singapore model an I'm getting some issues presently:
1) when car is started it seems like it misfiring I made checks to the coil packs an removed an replaced the #4 pack that was defective. When replaced the engine check light came on an the engine has lost a considerable amount of power.
Can you all guide me along the right path to solve this problem I'm experiencing?

Regards

Some aftermarket coil packs brands trigger the check light while other brands do not.
I used an aftermarket that only lasted about a year.
I bought 4 DENSO with correct part number from Amazon for US$41 each. No problem so far.
I have 2 original Toyota Denso as spares.
Peace.

Used original or main stream brands for coil packs.
