I had a Mexico made d34 Yellow in my galant for 6 years, transferred it to the lancer for another 2 then replaced it because it was dropping to 10v when starting. Put it in the wingroad as a supplemental battery then sold that car. Slight swelling on top so I doubt it lasted much longer.

My vehicles charging systems were always periodically checked and never had an issue.

A lot more than I expected, my previous USA made one lasted a little less than 6 years. I was skeptical of the Mexico made one because I read some bad reviews online but my experience was the opposite.

My old yellow made its way back home
Sticker still there, 7/11

Severely discharged, going to put it on the tender and see what happens.

They work well. Used one for about 3 years with an inverter to power a fan for when electricity goes for the baby. I usually recharged it when it was severely discharged. Gave it away when I got the generator.

When I bought it price wasn't bad, think I paid around 1300. Not sure the price now. Steve's had the d34 yellow top Optima on sale for 1950 a while ago.

They have it listed for 1530. Not sure what warranty they offer.

Pricesmart give 2 years full warranty and 1 year pro rated, 3 years total. Good battery only fault I have is the negative pole started to become lose, saw the same thing on some else red top from Pricesmart. Coincidence? Still working though after 3 years. Paid 1350 when I bought it. Black casing optima batteries are starting batteries, not recommended for deep cycle or music.

Pole coming loose? Is it that the pole is screwed into the battery?
Just did a quick search and saw many ppl complained about it.
My main purpose is just under twice the price for hopefully twice the longevity with minor weight on supporting a very small music system. Emphasise very small. One amp at 600w.
