Amp wiring question

Postby SYKO » September 11th, 2020, 1:29 am

So guys I wanna find out what makes more sense, I have a 4 ch amp together with a pair or drivers and a pair of midbass.
I currently have them wired as follows
Ch1 & ch2 bridged for the pair of drivers.
Ch3 & ch4 bridged for the pair of mids
Will it make more sense power wise to put a speaker and driver on a bridged Ch1 & ch2 with necessary condensers and do the same for the other?

SKYO, leave it as is, Currently you have active filtering which is great. I hope you have a bandpass xover for the woofers.

So the drivers playing mono?
and the speakers playing mono?
You have one ear awa?

From a processing standpoint, you better off how you have it hooked up currently.

From a musical standpoint, you missing out a lot of musical detail. I'd buy or make some passive crossovers. But dais me, I like music. Second option sounds better to me.

The human ear is most sensitive to midrange frequencies anyhow, you not gonna notice a difference when you drunk too.
