Project: Add bass to factory setup

Postby VexXx Dogg » April 10th, 2019, 11:47 am

Wife heard my car.
Decided she now wants some thump on her daily.

For simplicity, I've decided to leave the factory head unit and ditch the idea of integrating a 5 channel amp.

Plan is to replace front door speakers and rear deck speakers with the factory HU and add-on a powered sub.

Got this for about 1500 TTD landed with seabox.
12" sub, sealed enclosure, built-in class D amp.

Trying to score some good quality 6.5 coaxials and 6x9 coaxials for a budget of 1k. Loud and Clear has Orion right now on sale.
Might go that route.

Of course I'm not going to do it myself - checking back KREN Tech for install.

We'll see how this goes.

x-factor has a set of exodus anarchy for sale if you interested in going active.

They are some monsters.

Is this the hybrid? I saw dobson manage to get an aftermarket install into a hybrid. Clean and simple.

x2 on the powerbass.
Used those in my and a few friends' vehicles.
They work well with deck power.

I took two sets of Memphis 6.5's, thought they sounded good for the price, with the demo.
