WTK, Amp to power 2- DD 715's

Postby ron_28 » September 19th, 2017, 7:31 am

I would be doing a system soon where the bass line would be 2- DD 715 redline
subs are dual 2 and doing 600-1200 rms and 3600 watts max
What amp would you all recommend that would be suitable for these speakers

Thinking to wire them in series, bring them to a 2ohm load an using a
stetsom EX 3000.1
or tharamps hd 4000
or soundigital 2500.1

From personal experience: I'd recommend the Taramps HD, make sure you get the 2ohm version if that's your final ohm load.

P.S. Stay within manufacture recommended voltage though.

any of the brands should be good
get the amp with most power you can afford within the limits of your electrical system

Have a pair of the 712 on a Tara HD 4k
I personally find the subs could do with some more power.
