I wanna talk about the Speaker section in that pie chart to relate it to the average joe visiting the ICE forum.

(Ignore this if you're a seasoned audio enthusiast)

It doesn't mean to buy the best speakers (ie 18 sound/B&C/rcf/etc) and shove it in a random box and turn the crossover/eq settings to some random value and expect it to sound good

This sheit is a science, not an art. If you want your system to sound good, you need to dig up in electronics and acoustics.

Also don't be afraid to ask questions in the ICE forum, I'll try my best to not troll your post

Good read for home audio fans. The car environment is drastically different. To achieve the same results, less focus must be placed on speakers and more on the quality of installation. That changes the PoS list as follows:

- INSTALL - wiring, interconnects, reinforcements such as speaker rings, basic sound treatment, speaker placement + angles, tuning
- PROCESSOR + head unit
- AMPLIFICATION

Percentages?
- Install - 80%
- Processor + head unit - 10%
- Amplification - 10%

I know that these figures sound crazy but we don't pay attention to labour costs in Trinidad.
