15" sub opinions

Postby kimron » February 16th, 2016, 4:50 pm

Which 15" sub is your best pic for about 5000rms in a box approximately 5 ft3 that gets really loud.
All advise is welcomed.

The fact that you're looking for a sub with that power rating means you have $ to spend...I say try ah DD z....

Have that, maybe the DD Z series, DC lvl 6 and probably one of those Atomic subs.
Not sure if TREO, Incriminator and CT sounds have anything.

Better option might be a air of 2500 watt 12's but thats just me.

For a single 15 on 5000rms I would say DD audio 9915
or even the sundown team 15

Whatever you're goals are, i'm 99% sure it can be achieved with less than 3k rms and some efficient subs than spending that much to beat up on a single woofer daily, not to mention the cost of the drivers that can handle it.
