i need help with choosing a 4 channel amp

Postby nic_pow » June 6th, 2015, 10:34 pm

What i have so far for a car sql build:

alpine hu: cde 154bt
alpine sps 610c 80rms @ 4ohm for the front doors
alpine 610 coaxial 80rms @ 4ohm for the rear dash

4 channel amp budget $1700 or maybe $2000

my choices:
1.focal solid 4 75rms @ 4 ohms
2.rockford fosgate R400.4D 75rms @ 4 ohms
3. digital designs c5d 80rms @ 4 ohms

i feeling to go with the focal but i dont know about its sound quality/performance.

What other high end brands would give good clean sounds?

I plan to get a single 12 inch in the future for around $2500

The amp has very little to do with everything is the install is sub par and you using low quality mp3's.

I used the RF R series amps already, they shouldn't even be on that list with those other two amps.

Anyhew, there is a Polk amp for sale on tuner at a reasonable price.

and ted have a DD 4 ch reasonable.

I'd look into them.

The Clef Labs 5 channel amp is a good option, especially as you plan on adding s sub later on. It's $3000 retail. Check the website for dealers www.cleflabs.com
