need some advice in sound processing.

Yes tuners i have a clarion pre-amp and a three 2volts rca pre-outs jvc dvd head unit (can't remember what model).
i plan to upgrade to a pioneer deh-7500(it has three 4volts rca pre-outs. and sell the clarion pre-amp and buy the clarion cross-over.

oh sorry.
i want to know if the head unit have a good enough line drive? because i only want to use the cross-over alone.

Well a model number on the head unit would be helpful.

Or check the manual for the specifications on the preout voltage.

Yep, it have nuff line drive.


You need to be more concerned about the crossover output voltage since its the last piece of equipment before the amps, that also ok.



I never really considered line drive important really :|

unless you doing looooooong runs with some really thin wire with plenty of noise interference , then line drive becomes important

If you want plenty line drive, use high level input/outputs :D

Try audio control eqs
That got 6 in and 6 out with 13 volt line drive

It real bess

Selling by triple r

You could use the cross on the deck or amps

Or use 6xs cross

i was thinking about using the audio control matrix 6 channel line drive and use the cross on the deck and the amps
