You can get a solid copper bar (Typically used for ground distribution in industrial electrical installations) at Modern Electrical. You would have to drill and use lugs to connect to it.

What gauge cables the amps carry? My shok block takes dual zero in and puts out 4 4awg fused and 5 non fused (9 4awg out).

I think its RF or X-scorpion has dual zero in and dual zero out (saw those at triple r). And yes they are fused.

Have you done a price comparison of ready made blocks to a custom one?

I dont understand how your zero gauge keeps burning, zero gauge is not something that burns just so unless something seriously wrong. A good run of zero gauge will accommodate current draw of a few hundred amps on music. Are all your connections good? Anything slack / loose / grounding off etc? Why is your fuse not melting? Is there one?

post some pics of the install .. i am intrigued .

as for the copper bar it will be adequate to connect the batteries .. however i'd suggest u run 3 runs of 0 ga from the front alt and connect it to different points on the battery bank. same thing with the amp wires try not to tap off the same point as this will tend to drain the closest battery it is connected to .
