WTK: Deck Replacement - legacy

have a 04 Leggy. wanted to know if anyone is familiar with the type of deck the screen area can be replaced with. will a double din work?? little help appreciated

YEah but its in Japanese (the pre-set stations) and the output isnt that impressive to me.. if i remember correctly, each front door has 2 tweeters/2 speakers. 2 speakers on the back doors and a pretty dead ass woofer on the back dash... beside this deck can't play mp3's or my ipod... so not a huge fan of it right now..

i have the dash kit to allow a single din to be installed in this area original subaru part

the mac unit can be removed and either the oem pane or and aftermarket panel can be made to hold a single din or double din unit

the scosche/metra kits out of the states can also be moded to work on the japanese/singapore legacy that came with the mac system i also have a scosche kit

how can it be modded? i noe that the air condition knob is on the left instead of the right.
