0 awg wire

Postby noyztoyz » August 24th, 2012, 8:11 am

Which brand has the best 0 awg wire?

I normally use the stinger hyperflex, thought that was the bomb until i compared it to the Rockford Fosgate wire

The rockford wire is very much thicker, almost cant fit into a ring terminal. The flexibility remains the same tho.

Any other brands here have a thicker 0 awg than the stinger?
I heard Shok industries has a model that is

the blue in the picture is the stinger

shok industries state 5250 strands in both the reference (cca) and competition (pc) lines

they are also extremely flexible, and retailing price is very workable , where the reference lines can match up in price to the more commonly sold cables locally, ie stinger, audiopipe, soundquest ect

can anyone here though, show a difference in power transfer of cca vs pc?

Flows on the Surface...

hence the reason for multiple runs in SPL vehicles.

so stranded wire 3/4 thick overall diameter is better than a 3/4 inch diameter copper bar for current flow?
(the stranded wire has more surface area)

correct

this is why there are rules governing how many runs of cable you can have in certain classes in iasca idbl
