i have 4 6 inch fital pros 6fe200 in my four doors powered by a cerwin vega 800.4 and looking for some suggestions on what highs to use to complement these spks and where is best place to position them.....any info will be appreciated

Well was thinking since speakers in stock positions that will be a good spot to place then.....but any other suggestions will be appreciated

actually Audiopipe have some soft domes for around $80 per pair that don't sound too bad @ 3k upwards.

And why the a pillars for the bullets? The dash will do. Same fabrication that was needed to fit it into the pillars can go into fitting the blt-5's

Im using these right now,in my wingroad,on the dash(with slight modification to the tweeter),getting power from the amp (through the filter of course) and they sound sweet.Had NB1's in my previous install and the difference is night and day.Paid about $450 at Kaizen but to me its worth it.

I'd say the NP electrolytic cap attached to them .

There's really no need to use that type of capacitor with tweeters - a proper mylar cap will do the job and should be small enough for install purposes. And it will probably sound better too.

Those NB1s are truly the equivalent of the spawn of Satan in car audio. Just slightly better sounding than nails scratching on a blackboard. They give the system a distinct "sound", and it's not a good one.

thinking bout using some alpine SPS-1005 3/8 tweeters what you guys think.....any one have experience with these

The faitals seem good up to 4k and you can use those tweets to cover 5k and up. My only concern is their sensitivity, which I can't find online.

I've used alot of tweeters in and around that price range. CDT Audio HD, Image Dynamics CTX, RE Audio TW1, Arc Audio KAR, JL Audio TR, and a few more. Honestly the best bang for the buck tweeters are the ARC Audio tweeters, you can get the old model ones in Electromania for $300 if they still have, and the new model ones in Kaizen for $400. Honestly they are the same tweeters except for the colour. The old model ones from Electromania are silver and the new model ones are black.

The tweeters are not bright and they can play low for a tweeter. I have used them with pro audio before and they sound incredible, i used them with powerbass 4xl mids, and i have used them the faital pro 6fe100. The 6FE200 falls in between the powerbass and the faital 6fe100 in terms of sound. TheY have more midbass than the powerbass and play higher up the spectrum than the 6fe100's do. I believe that the Arc tweets would sound great in that setup as well. Might be able to get you a demo, pm me if you interested.
