what amp to use

hi tuners i am trying to get my faital pros 8fe to play loud and clean but its not even close to what i read about them so was wondering if the amp was the problem and i am curretly using a power acoustik 800w 4ch and i got them briged sois this to little for them to get loud yet be at least semi clean. Also are u suppose to smell a funny buurning scent while playing loud comming from new mid speakers cause currentlu got the cross set to 300hz and slope on 3

try shaker for a nice rf amp for those.

Get rid of the Power Acoustic. Waste of time IMO. Go for a Soundstream or RF.

u need a 2 channel amp that does 500 rms minimum, that poweracoustik might barely make 300, and the burning smell is from underpowering and bad signals thats slowly damaging your new speakers

Get a better more powerful amp, your amp is clipping......if you keep playing it like that you'll burn the coil of the speakers :onfire:

like everybody already said : a new so hot amp & ur distorting d speakers with it too ....
