there is someone selling a powerbass asa1000.1d for $1400.00 in the classifieds. should do some justice & have some headroom.

The powerbass 1000 looks like a good buy if it is well kept..

Any decent amp around 700W would do.. I always prefer to get as much power as you can safely afford. It ensures you don't clip the amp and you always have extra power for the future, in case you ever choose to upgrade..
