Postby boxdoctor » July 20th, 2011, 12:25 am

This system was launched Sunday at the SW Show

System consists of 12 10" T3 Audio T400 10" Subwoofers

6 US Amps 2000x amplifiers, 3 on bass, 3 for mids and highs ( 2 extra were wired for upgrades in the future)

I prefer individual enclosures.

The only problem is directly in front of the vehicle is a dead spot, not much bass  .

At the sides though, is a totally different story  .

It was the only way to fit them in a straight wall  .

This type of wall has no phase issues.

you think its because its not walled off properly or the distance and angle of the windscreen to the enclosures are too close?

More than likely the deadspot is caused by the cancellation of the waves travelling behind the enclosure. Sounds like a baffle to seal to the B pillars and winding the back glasses up should solve it.
Same concept in a forward firing trunk car.

I can't wait to hear that bassline...Good work kyle.

I like this very much....lol at the vinyl man on bonnet...that's cool :D
I also prefer that separate enclosure concept and it was done quite neatly!
