amps coming on witout deck

my deck recently gave out, if i try to power it on nothing appears on the screen but i realise my amps still power on. i thought the remote from the deck would trigger the amps only wen the deck is on, wat exactly causin this?

Did you use a voltmeter to check if there is a +12V signal coming from the remote wire from the deck?

well i didnt check the remote but wen the deck is connected if i try to plug in the rca i get some serious ground noise comin from the bass speakers

yah deck fackin up boi!!!....n wtb u shud plug in the rcas with the deck off bro....check de remote terminal n see if ur getting 12volts from the deck if yea and u nut seeing anything on the deck then somethings goin on wit the deck...

[un-dhanrajed] Your headunit is giving problems.... And ByTheWay you should not be removing/putting on the RCA's with the deck on old chap. Check the remote-output and confirm you have a 12volt signal out, if however you dont get any such signal then something maybe wrong with your headunit[/un-dhanraj]
