NS-1 guts vs 4500d guts.

SAE-500d puts out a bit over 800watts at 50-60Hz.

NS-1 expected to put out close to 7k @ 12v & 9-10k @ 18v.

Hmmm, not Zenon for either board, NS1 seems to be chung lam digital dunno about the 500D. I see other manufacturers shying away from zenon as well. I wonder why?

Best clamp was 6090 watts @ 1.3 ohm actual @ 12.1 volts actual using my Extech True RMS power clamp meter about 6-8 seconds into the tone to avoid picking up initial spikes. I think we have more left in it - more testing to come as we get it dialed in a bit!

Nice amps!
A few years ago 1500W rms was a lot, today it seems to be too little!

prices are not set as yet but for the NS1, you looking at somewhere ~$13000. Amps are not released yet but from what i am hearing prices should be around that. Give or take $1000. These are not cheap but the amps have been tested to put out 7300RMS driving a 1 ohm load. And that is at 11.8v. If you have proper electrical, by that i mean around 800 amps of reserve capacity and a steady supply from your alternator(s) you can have this amp doing something like 8000-9000RMS on a steady 14v. Which when you think about it is good value for money. That comes out to be something like $1.58tt per RMS, which if i checked correctly is better value for your money than a powerbass ASA1000.1DX, which is closer to $2tt per RMS and hailed by some as the best kinda cheap amp you could buy!
