W.T.K How to permanently disable your car alarm system...

hi lost my car alarm remote and was wondering if it is possible to disable the system until i get a replacement. It's a viper system...

trace the ground wire and diconnect it.

^ If it is installed by a dealer there would be two points of immobilization, one normally open and one normally closed, so removing the ground or fuse wont work.

Open the driver's door, place key in the ignition and hold down the valet switch. Turn the key all the way to just before the start position, while holding the switch. Then turn the key all the way back to the off position and release the switch, your alarm will be disabled and power locks etc will still work.

^^^ could i do that to turn it back on ? cuz i think i disabled mine about a week now by well playing fass smh :oops:
