dont know brand of hand. but the first 3 was the barrel type fuses.
n the recent is the kinda blade types

the mono block is 90 amps fuse and the 1200 wats are 50 amp each.

i uses a 100 for the mono and 60 for the other amp.this is because 90 amp and 50 amp fuses are hard to get. power is a 0g wire straight from battery.grounds are 4g wire.

any more info?

a 3500 mono with a 90 amp fuse? what kind of amp is this, may i ask?

When fuses blow, unless you are doing extreme spl which i doubt, this indicates install error. Please check back your installer.

Impedance, wiring integrity ie installation, termination etc
Loose wires, frayed wires incorrect termination etc

pics of the fuse block with the wires in it, pics of the grounding location, pics of the wires terminating at the amp and pics of the wires terminating at the speakers would solve this problem.

also i must sat this only happens when i play for a long period. the amps usually gets really hot.but i guess this is expected. I dont want to be misunderstood but the fuse dont blow. its like the fuse/or fuse terminals get soo hot that they melt the plastic that house the fuse. also see a lil burnt in the power wire.but fuse is not blown

1MADE: the fuse block is located in the trunk screw on behind the back seat together with the amps

jeff: its a boss monoblock and i am my own installer.

oh.k i will see if i get pics.but soo far i assume it can be a bad ground?

check and see if the ground wire is becoming hot...you see your total fusing limit is 160A and your total current draw is 140A....so with that 20A gap, the fuse might not blow...

but from an electron flow standpoint,

maybe your ground wire should be changed to the same zero gauge used for the positive...and in my experience, when a large current is passing through a wire that is not capable to carry it, it gets hot...this might be the reason your amps are getting so hot...

check your wiring...pics would help...and I stand corrected for my view...

so only the bass amp fuse block melts?
and 0 gauge positive runs form front(engine bay) battery to fuse blocks then amps...
do you have the vehicle running when playing, and what model boss is it (check if speaker/s ohmage match amp)?

sorry.it is a 4 gauge running from fuse to bass amp.
the vehicles always runnig while playing and its a chaos boss. the amp is 1 ohm(need to confirm) stable and i have 2 dual coil hil fonics square. runing in parrallel.

thinking bout it now. It can be the ohmage mismatch causing the over heating? Drawing to much current from the battery that the wire cant handle. prob not the wire but where the fuse contact the wire prob cant handle the amount of current passing tru. well this is my reasoning to the prob

to me it sounds like you are using low grade holders..

prolly need to invest in a better holder?

i had that problem when i used the $30 holders under high current/ high heat situations. switched to better quality holder and have not had it since.

just my $0.02

or you can try to relocate to an area where it may be exposed to a lil less heat (if it is an engine bay install)
