I built a th a whle back, designed for popular pro 18" drivers like b&c tbx
It is pretty loud.

However It was really designed go be used at a minimum of a pair for proper lf coupling.

Is anybody interested in building one to make the pair ?
Supposed to be real damage as a pair,
Claims that 2 pairs could adequate for most.

if anybody interested I am giving the box away, it is pretty heavy though
I don't have time or use for it.

Also if they are serious I have a table saw so can cut ply if they are going to build a second one.

BTW, I ran the specs for the Eminence Kappalite 12" in my POC3 design in HornResp. 3dB more sensitive, and 5dB higher peak capability. I recon that combo would give my 2x12" Type R sealed box a serious run for the money from Fb up, to the power limits of the Kappalite driver.

I'm currently trying to come up with a tapped horn for a home use using a 15" driver faital pro 15Hp1010, I have simmed it in hornresp an it looks good down to 32hz its kinda large though. Took me some time to figure how to fold it but I think I figured it out in autoCAD. It would have a footprint of 18.5" x 18.5" and stands at 53" tall, this format seems plenty easier to build as it has one long single fold rather than having multiple short folds. Hope the results turn out good as I Just recently started dabbling into diy audio its quite addictive tho

See http://www.diysubwoofers.org/projects/other/PA310-TH2/

However, if I was doing this design from scratch, I'd probably redesign the box a bit to be an even better fit for the Kappalite 3012LF. Shouldn't be too difficult to do. One thing to bear in mind though is to ensure that (1) the box can actually fit into the car, and (2) the mouth isn't blocked. It is a bit in my vehicle, but then again I didn't design the box to be used *in* the vehicle, LOL. Still it sounds pretty good in there.
