popping noise in speaker

getting a poping noise in my speakers when i switch my deck from the radio to the ipod or a cd etc and also when my volume goes right down to 0 is make a pop, also when i accelerate im hearing a feed back through d speaker. i ground off d deck already and it stop quite abit but it still there, any tips?

try fixingyour grounding points...it sounds like a pioneer to me...dont ground your rca partner...

RCA wires are too close to the power cable . thats what gives u engine noise ( ass you rev higher the nooise is louder) ... run the rca on the other side of the car and check your grounds for the poping noise

Running audio signal wires and power cables along the same path can cause engine noise, yes! But it is hardly likely, as the signals travelling down audio signal cables and power cables are different, in order for this to occur, the signal cables can either have shredded insulation or be of very poor quality and even with the "poor" quality rca's it's highly improbable!

getting a popping sound when switching between components? Plus there is a noise/hum when you step on the gas? I've heard of dirt causing the popping between switching components. maybe try a cleaner? Dusty environments can cause some static when moving buttons.

How long have you had the humming noise? I'm no expert here. far from it, just trying to help. :)
