epi install

just want to know wat will happen if i connect the sub out from the deck to the epi then cross . will it work or dose the epic need a full range signal.?

has anyone used the epi on dd subs tune to 40z? an wat chip did u use,cuz am thinking of putting an an epi on 3 1508s tune to 40hz.

40Hz tuning is way too high for a system using an epicenter. there is a good chance that you'd damage the sub because of unloading.

just a quick point to note when using the epi, the gains on your amplifier should be set to set at the lowest possible value, since, with the lower frequencies now being input, the system model changes, and as a result the previously used gain can now cause system instability(clipping) therefore sending a DC signal to the speaker, which would damage the coil. be weddy weddy careful.
