what is a good brand of multimeter to buy becides FLUKE?? AN WHERE AN HOW MUCH IS IT?

wagonrunner, I think I have that, very nice basic meter that does the job..

The craftsman multimeters have a serious zero-ing problem. STAY AWAY

just brought in a few crafstman units

work very well for the price

$20us

havent had any issues with "zero-ing"

try changing the leads as they are not of the best quality but for a cheap meter it does the job for car audio installations

i have a similar craftsman unit

gives a sometimes wacky way off reading sometimes but 95% of d time it does its job good enough for d average person ...... :|

will be there in few weeks and gonna check out what else they have to restock the tool room

for a $10 meter it does the basic job for most do it yourselfers

any good shop should own at least 1 high end meter though when critical testing is needed but the basic ones can be used daily especially when workers dont take care of the equipment
assign one to each worker and when they damage it its just 10 bucks to replace

wagonrunner, you have nice choice in equitment, Ive got one of those two lol.. Well one that resembles it, skrewed the display, it needs to be pressed down for it to work as of right now..

modern electrical in tunapuna sell greenlee multimeters
suppose to be good as the fluke
