Postby videsht » July 13th, 2008, 6:55 pm

this waz the sub used in de b15 for the pass 2 years and as we scrap de car and i had de sub out of the box

i waz very impressed with de results, and a few members on the site could attest to its performance the sub could take power and current (for short burst)  had de amp down to 10.0v  and den the sub would start to smell, i know daz bad but lack of current

Image

the basket

Image

height of the sub: 11.75"

the magnet

the suspension: suppose to be 4" excursion and i wouldnt doubt it could do dat

yep the diameter of the magnet iz 11"

i did 145.0db on the 6th july @ mk curry duck with 1 coil connected

my highest score so far waz 145.8db @ 100% IASCA 13

both test we done with de same amp and current setup

the enclosure for the sub waz built by kyle

wagon Vs Trunk vehicle, difference in SPL output could be as much as 4-5 Dbs.

Look at IASCA or DB drag (Especially db drag) World final list. If you see a trunk vehicle listed there anywhere in the Top 10 for stock/street, if you do I'll run naked around POS during peak time,

this is why i always said, Deoraj's Cortina is the most impressive SPL vehicle in trinidad right now.
