You can probably try Shams or Radio Shack. If you don't get any by next week Friday PM me and I will see if I have any lying around at work. We usually import them though.

Anyone ever order from harborfreight tools?

http://www.harborfreight.com/

they have some nice low cost tool options for the occasional hobbyist like myself.

don't buy anything with a motor from them
good for a lot of things though
they have good price on unibits
their autodarkening welding helmet for $40 works just as good as others selling for $200usd
well reviewed in welding forums too

I see the smallest hangup shopvac for sale today at bhags for $425
it was previously $350..........

Im in the market for a jig-saw, whatchu guys recommend for around $50usd?

I use a jig once a month or so just to cut a speaker hole, or make some rings. Nothing much just normal DIY stuff so I aint looking to dump a whole lot into a jig.

well, tbh, I dont have it. Im gathering interest. IF there is a need for a dozen sheets or so, I can have it arranged. Assuming the price is good, how many sheets you you want?

I just needed one for this weekend.

Wanted to try the ply mainly because of its lighter weight and durability.

sry. if i do go thru with it, it will be here, in 4-6 weeks.

Baltic birch is more expensive than marine.

But it seems to the the material of choice for all hardcore sq box builders

havent gone cobalt as yet but i pass thru a set each of bosch & dewalt titanium sets

works well but after some use they can get dull & d fine 1s do break if u put too much pressure or hold d drill bend

right now bhags have some silver looking dewalt bits sold individually thats priced kinda cheap but works well & if it dulls u sharpen them on a sander\grinder & its good to go for a while again ...

Problem with titanium nitride is, once the coating is damaged, the bit cant be sharpened to the same hardness. With a cobalt bit, you can resharpen. I haven't used a hss or regular hs bit in over 10 years. They are absolutely worthless. Just got a complete set of counter sink bits from caribbean fastners. Costly, but worth it.
